Coming into Paro via Druk Air is one of the most breathtaking of flights. Druk Air provides exceptional service between Paro and Kolkotta, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Delhi, Rangoon, and Dacca. Upon arrival into Paro, visitors are welcomed to Bhutan and whisked off to Thimphu, the Bhutanese capital to begin their journey into this ancient land.

The hotels in Bhutan are built using the style of architecture that is so unique to Bhutan. Each hotel offers the beauty of ancient architecture, with modern comforts and amenities. The view from these hotels is amazing, and travelers are always enthralled by the view from their room. Once our visitors have checked in and walked around the hotel, a nice walk around the town can offer an insight into Bhutanese life and culture.

Traveling around Bhutan often requires long car trips or hikes. Luckily, the scenery is so beautiful, visitors rarely notice how long the travel is. During these drives, there is a unique opportunity to see the natural beauty of Bhutan. Viewing the mountains, the plant-life, and the rivers is one of the best parts of any trip to Bhutan. Along the way, visitors may also have the opportunity to see local villagers at work, farming or tending their yak.

Dzongs (or fortresses) are scattered throughout the country. These mighty buildings, built anywhere from the 15th to the 17th centuries, were once used to defend Bhutan from Tibetan invasion. In modern times these buildings house both administrative and religious leaders of Bhutan.

The view from the top of the hills are memorable. From this spot you can see down to the valley bellow into the rice paddies. Visitors to Bhutan enjoy the treks up the mountains and the views once they reach the top!

Visitors to Bhutan always enjoy visiting the Tscehus (festivals). These festivals give great insight into the life and culture of the Bhutanese people and display dancing, food, music, and the spirituality of the people.

The end of a trip is always difficult. It is hard to say goodbye to the beauty of this magical country. We hope that all of our visitors have an exceptional time and return again soon!
