Weather in Bhutan varies greatly by season. Spring (March-May) and Autumn (Mid-August-October) are warm, with temperatures between 12 and 25 degrees Celsius (53-77 degrees Fahrenheit). Summer (June-Mid-August) is the rainy season with temperatures between 15 and 27 degrees Celsius (59 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit). Winter (November-February) is cold with temperatures between -5 and 16 degrees celsius (23 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit).

How far in advance do I need to book the trip?
We recommend that you book your trip at least 6 weeks in advance. If you will be traveling during a festival, we recommend that you book 8 weeks in advance because these spots fill up quickly. Bhutan tourism philosophy is quality over quantity and spaces are limited!

Do vendors take credit cards in Bhutan?
Many of the vendors in Paro and Thimphu take credit cards. Make sure to have plenty of cash on hand as the stores in the villages will only accept cash.
